LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed mixed trend and lost 1.87 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6358.97 points and closed at 6357.10 points.
The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.916 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.387 million shares, showing an upward move of 529,100 shares. While, out of the total 95 active scrips 24 moved up, 12 shed values and 59 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited, Ferozsons Laboratories Limited and Shell Pakistan Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 7.18, Rs. 7.01 and Rs. 6.11 respectively.
Engro Fertilizers Limited, National Bank of Pakistan and Lotte Chemical Pakistan lost their per share value by Rs. 1.90, Re 0.85 and Re. 0.43 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 981,000 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 365,500 shares and Fauji Fertilizer (Bin Qasim)Limited with 98,000 shares.
