LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Monday witnessed mixed trend and lost 1.2 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6351.28 points and closed at 6350.08 points.
The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.387 million shares to close against previous turnover of 927,200 shares, showing an upward move of 460,500 shares. While, out of the total 99 active scrips 33 moved up, 7 shed values and 59 remained equal.
The Major Gainers of the day were Engro Corporation Limited, Mari Petroleum Company and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 13.43, Rs 9.90 and Rs 7.56 respectively.
Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited lost their per share value by Rs 11.94, Rs 1.79 and Re 0.30 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Sammit Bank Limited with 401,500 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 307,500 shares and Lotte Chemical Pakistan with 120,000 shares.
