KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs257 to all time high at Rs44,742 per 10 grams in the local market Wednesday, as its international price closed at $ 1,620 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association, bullion's tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 300 to Rs52,200.
Silver closed lower at Rs1,071.42 per 10 grams.
