ISLAMABAD: President of Islamabad Fruit Market Traders Welfare Association Syed Siraj Agha on Wednesday announced 50 per cent discount on various seasonal fruits during the holy month of Ramazan.
Talking to Pakistan Television (PTV) he said that apples, grapes, melons, pomegranates and other fruits would be sold on cheaper rates to customers.
"If the CDA provides us a separate place special stalls will be held there , otherwise the same will be held at the Fruit Market", he said.
"A stern action will be taken against those found charging high prices of fruits inside or outside the market", he added.
