10 cattle markets being developed in province

FAISALABAD: As many as 10 cattle markets would be set-up in different districts in the province under the development programme of the Punjab government.

Provincial Incharge Model cattle markets/bazars Afzal Khokhar during his visit to under construction model cattle market near Nia Moana on Samandri Road said these markets will be helpful towards promotion of livestock sector as well as for the owners of cattle farms.

On the occasion, DCO said the cattle market is being developed on 46 acres of land while 22 sheds would be constructed on 24 acres of additional land where all the basic facilities including rest areas, security arrangements would be ensured. The project would be executed at a cost of Rs 270 million, DCO added.
