PPP sacrifices for sake of stable democratic, political system:Asma

ISLAMABAD: Member National Assembly (MNA) Asma Arbab Alamgir said on Wednesday that Pakistan Peoples Party always sacrificed for the sake of stable democratic and political system of the country.

Talking to a private television news channel, the PPP MNA said the government is committed to solve the problems of the common man and for this purpose, all out efforts were being made to achieve the objectives.

She said: "It is not only the responsibility of a single party to address the issues confronting the nation, adding that all the political forces are equally bound to work for the welfare, progress and prosperity of the country."

She said that PPP has completed more than three years in power and due to the people support and the welfare policies of the present government, "we will successfully complete the five-year tenure."

Replying to a question, she said that in the elections of AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, the people of these areas had reposed full confidence in the PPP.

She said that every party was sitting in the Parliament due to the support of the people of their respective constituencies.

She added that it is the duty of these politicians to utilize the available resources for the uplift of their areas.

The MNA said that PPP came into power with the majority votes of the people of this country and the government is fully committed to provide relief to the masses, she added.

To a question, Asma Arbab Alamgir said that democracy is flourishing in the country.

Expressing her dismay over the role of the dictators in the country, she said the masses are suffering today due to their wrong policies and undemocratic approach.
