Shahid asks world community to support Pakistan economically
ISLAMABAD: An economic expert, Dr. Shahid Hassan Siddiqui asked the world community to support Pakistan economically as Pakistan's economy affected badly due to global war on terror.
Talking to a private news channel on Wednesday,he said EU countries should give more access to Pakistani products in their markets.
He maintained the purpose of Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani's visit to Britain is to get more access in EU markets for Pakistani products.
He said Pakistan is the worst victim of war on terror and it should convince the west about its sacrifices in global war.
He expressed hope that access to EU markets may bring prosperity in Pakistan and it may help to eliminate fundamentalism from the society.
He said Prime Minister will again ask British government to realize Pakistan's economic problems, which have doubled owing to global war on terror.
