ECB opposes Greek selective default: Eurogroup

BRUSSELS: The European Central Bank reaffirmed its opposition to any selective default of Greece at a meeting of eurozone finance ministers on Monday, the Eurogroup said in a statement.

"The ECB confirmed its position, reaffirmed by its Governing Council last Thursday, that a credit event or selective default should be avoided," the 17 finance ministers said in a statement.
