Govt should unveil elements behind Karachi violence: Nawaz
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday that the government should complete its tenure in the prevailing situation.
He was talking to the media after condoling the death of lyricist Khawaja Pervaiz with his family.
To a question about Imran Khan, he said the comments of Imran Khan could be correct but they do not carry weight.
Bureaucracy is answerable neither to the chief minister nor to Governor Punjab, he added.
Nawaz said the government should unveil the elements who are spoiling the situation in Karachi. He was of the view that the government should get help from army to establish peace in Karachi and to protect the lives and property of the people.
The army operation can be launched in Karachi on a letter by the DCO, he said.
