Massive traffic jam at Ravi bridge

LAHORE: Massive traffic jam was witnessed at Shahdra Mor to the Ravi Bridge and other link roads of the area on Monday due to security check by police at the old toll plaza.

Traffic remained clogged for hours, causing immense problems for citizens. A number of people suggested that police check vehicles at the roadside and should not hinder traffic.

They reached Bhati Chowk from Shahdara in an hour due to long queues of vehicles. On the other hand, a police official said they worked efficiently but the traffic mess worsened on Monday only.
