RECORDER REPORT: KSE close of day

KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Friday having 28567.74 shares with a positive change of 793.31and volume of 143,744,610 shares.

High and Low were 28838.11 and 27774.43 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 187,806,410 shares with 342 total traded companies out of which 265 were up, 54 were down and 23 were unchanged.

Construction and Materials (Cement) were the top traded sector with total traded volume of 34,917,300 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 42,142,300 shares.
