PESHAWAR: Three police officers were killed and several people wounded when a suicide bomber blew himself up near a police van in northwestern Pakistan on Monday, officials said.
The police van was on a routine patrol on the outskirts of Peshawar when it came under attack, senior administration official Siraj Ahmed told AFP.
A police official confirmed it was a suicide attack.
