KARACHI: Deputy Convener, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee, Dr. Farooq Sattar and other party leaders visited reception camps set up by their party at different spots in the city in connection with its "Jalsa Qaumi Yakjehti" to be held on January 30, at Jinnah Ground, Azizabad here.
Dr. Sattar was accompanied by Incharge MQM Information Wing, Wasey Jaleel and Incharge MQM's Karachi Organising Committee, Hammad Siddiqi, said a statement issued by MQM here on Saturday.
Talking to the party men who are working at reception camps, Dr. Farooq Sattar paid them tribute on behalf of his party.
In connection with the "Jalsa Qaumi Yakjehti" various lanes, streets, roundabouts and buildings as well as party headquarter "Nine Zero", MPA Hostel, Khursheed Begum Memorial Hall and Jinnah Ground have been decorated with colourful lights, party flags and banners.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain will also address the event via telephone from London.
