KARACHI: The Karachi Stock market bench mark-100 index closed lower by 92.39 points or 0.41 percent on Monday.
KSE-100 index closed at 22363.20 as compared to previous 22445.59 points while KSE-30 index also closed lower by 92.64 points or 0.54 percent to 16965.76 as compared to previous 17058.30.
Stocks of 277 companies were traded of which 97 closed higher, 160 shed value while 20 remained unchanged.
Highest increase of Rs 330.75 per share was recorded in Nestle Pak to Rs 6945.75 and Rs 15 in Pak Tobacco stocks to Rs 335.
Fazal Textile shed value by Rs 17.76 to Rs 337.56 while Tri-Pack Films decreased by Rs 9.35 to Rs 177.69.
Highest trading volume of 76782000 shares was recorded in the scrips of Wateen Telecom Ltd.
Total market turnover remained at 158605700 shares.
In future trading 56 companies closed higher while 72 others closed lower.
