Chicken prices on decrease

imageISLAMABAD: The prices of chicken have decreased in the local market including Ramazan Sasta Bazaars of federal capital.

Before, the start of holy month of Ramazan, the chicken meat was sold at Rs. 270 to 290 per kg while live chicken at Rs. 175 to 190 per kg.

The live chicken is now available at Rs. 135-140 per kg, while the chicken meat at Rs. 215 to 220 per kg.

The chicken stall holders at G-7 Sasta Bazaar said that prices would further decrease in the coming days, as the poultry traders have good stocks of chicken.

He said that chicken demand is sliding during Ramazan and due to this reason, rates have been reduced.
