LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 19.36 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 4195.03 and closed at 4214.39 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 6.122 million shares to close against previous turnover of 5.762 million shares, showing an upward move of 360,100 shares. While, out of the total 98 active scrips, 29 moved up, 43 remained equal with 26 shed values.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Kot Addu Power Company and National Bank of Pakistan were major gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 11.09, Rs 2.65 and Rs 1.84 respectively.
Attock Refinery Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Nishat (Chunian) Limited lost their per share value by Rs 4.00, Rs 1.60 and Rs 1.29 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 1.499 million shares, Fauji Cement Company Limited with 1.282 million shares and Pakistan International Airline Corporation with 595,500 shares.
