KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 18712.39 with a positive change of 98.03 and volume of 42,727,500 shares.
High and Low were 18712.39 and 18609.87 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 64,629,050 shares with 250 total traded companies out of which 149 were up, 83 were down and 18 were unchanged.
Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 12,500,800 shares. It was followed by Food Producers with a total traded volume of 12,150,700 shares.
The three top traded companies were Quice Food with a volume of 6,623,000and price per share of 9.80 (0.86), Jah.Sidd. Co.XD with a volume 5,447,500of price per share of 12.25 (0.38), Engro Foods Ltd. with a volume 5,262,000 of price per share of 145.40 (6.92).
The top three advancers were Wyeth Pak Ltd XD with price per share 1329.00 (62.50), Bhanero Tex. with price per share of 300.50 (14.17) and Clariant PaK. share of 277.10 (13.19).
The top three decliners were Unilever Food XD with price per share of 4116.02 (-215.98), Sunrays Textile with price per share of 161.41 (-8.49) and Exide (PAK) price per share of 361.00 (-7.00).
