ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani directed on Thursday the Ministry of Petroleum and National Resources to convene a meeting of Gas Load Management Committee to review the gas supply situation in the country.
The Prime Minister directed that representatives of all the major stakeholders be invited to the meeting on Friday - April 15, to be chaired by the Minister for Petroleum, to find a solution and to minimize problems of the industry and the common man
He asked the Committee to analyse the gas shortage situation and rationalize distribution so that problems of the people and various sectors can be reduced substantially.
Following the Prime Minister's directive, the Ministry for Petroleum and Natural Resources has invited the representatives of APTMA, fertilizer industry, power plants, FPCCI, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation, gas companies and others.
