CAIRO: Yields on reopened Egyptian 5-year and 7-year treasury bonds fell at an auction on Monday, data from the central bank showed.
The average yield on the reopened 5-year bonds fell to 14.485 percent from 14.680 percent at the previous auction on Feb. 18.
The yield on reopened 7-year bonds also dropped to 14.891 percent from 15.10 percent at the previous auction also on Feb.18.
The central bank sold 1 billion Egyptian pounds of the 5-year bonds and another 500 million of the 7-year bonds.
