CM announces compensation for victim of blast

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, on Friday announced a sum of Rs 500,000 for the heirs of Inspector Abdul Razzak, who died in a blast in Saddar area here Thursday night.

An official announcement here said that the Chief Minister also announced a sum of Rs 50,000 each for those who had sustained injuries in the blast.

It said that the Chief Minister also announced a sum of Rs 500,000 for the heirs of Naveed Khan Tanoli who was shot dead in Karachi's Gulshan-i-Iqbal area on Thursday night.

The deceased was brother of the Station House Officer(SHO) of the Kohsar Police Station, it was further stated.
