ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's former ambassador to US and central leader of the PPP Syeda Abida Hussain said that the voice of Pakistan government and the masses should be one to get realized the US about the sacrifices rendered during military operations against militants.
Talking to Radio Pakistan on Friday, she commented on the recent report of White House, "We should have got control over terrorists much earlier and should have focused on economic development of the country, while exploiting the potential of the natural resources and manpower".
Pakistan's former ambassador to Afghanistan Rustam Shah Mohmand has termed the White House report as non-factual.
Rustam said Pakistani armed forces and masses gave more sacrifices in operations against miscreants than any other country.
Reacting on the White House report, Tehmina Janjua, the Foreign Office spokesperson said that Pakistan has adopted clear strategy based on national interest to confront the issue of terrorism. She expressed Pakistan's disagreement with the contents of the White House report.
