PRAGUE: The Czech Finance Ministry sold 5.0 billion crowns ($255.13 million) worth of 1.50/19 government bonds in the first, competitive round of bidding at an auction of on Wednesday.
The ministry had planned to offer 3 billion to 5 billion crowns worth of the bonds.
It was sold along with 3.2 billion worth of a variable-rate coupon bond due 2017 on Wednesday.
