HYDERABAD: Allama Altaf Hussain Al- Hussaini was laid to rest on Saturday in Khursheed Colony, taluka Kotri, Jamshoro district.
Thousands of people attend the funeral of late Allama Hussaini. The funeral prayer was led by Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi at the Malik Asad Sikandar Sports Ground, Kotri.
The 45-year-old vice president of an Ulema Council's Sindh chapter, Allama Altaf Hussain Al-Hussaini was killed as a result of an armed attack in Kotri by unknown assailants on Thursday night.
He was first taken to Civil Hospital Hyderabad and later to a private hospital in Karachi where he breathed his last around 3:15 pm on Friday, according to doctors.
The Ulema Council's District President Jamshoro, Syed Lutuf Ali Shah told APP that late Hussaini was buried in the religious institution which he himself had constructed a few years ago in Khursheed Colony in Kotri's SITE area.
