KARACHI: Karl Lagerfeld has given a cutting remark on the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister Pippa Middleton saying that her rear makes for a better view than her face.
Lagerfeld, the creative Director of Chanel said that Pippa “struggles” with her looks, adding, “I don't like the sister's [Pippa] face. She should only show her back.”
The 78-year-old designer was commenting on Middleton sister’s style while talking to a newspaper.
Lagerfeld claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, “has a nice silhouette and is the right girl for that boy” while Pippa is not attractive as her sister, however “struggles”.
It is not the first time the designer has criticized a famous figure. In February, Lagerfeld commented on Adele saying, “She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice” but later, he apologized for his comments.
