ISE-10 index sheds 140.15 points

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange witnessed a bearish trend on Wednesday as the ISE-10 index was down by 140.15 points to close at 4352.39.

A total of 77,300 shares were traded, which were up by 41,300 shares as compared to previous day's trading of 36,000 shares.

Out of 141 companies, share prices of 32 companies recorded increase and those of 108 registered decrease. No company remained stable.

The share price of Treet Corporation increased by Rs. 14.38, while that of Siemens Pakistan Engineering decreased by Rs. 54.73.

Bank of Punjab, Byco Petroleum and Silkbank remained the top trading companies with 25,000, 9000 and 2,000 respectively.
