KARACHI: Three ships carrying containers and furnace oil were berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal and FOTCO Terminal respectively on Thursday.
Meanwhile one more ship carrying containers also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 75% at the Port on Friday where a total eight ships namely APL Atlantic, Kerstin, Orient Singapore, Beacom-SW, Elini D, Bunga Aster, Donga Peneus and Euro Progress are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, wheat, urea, edible oil and furnace lkoil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 85242 tonnes comprising 69784 tonnes imports and 15458 tonnes exports unclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2397 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
