LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 10.29 points as the LSE-25 Index opened with 3639.91 and closed at 3650.20 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.198 million shares to close against previous turnover of 2.019 million shares, showing an upward move of 179,300 shares. While, out of the total 84 active scrips, 20 moved up, 46 remained equal and 18 shed values.
National Bank of Pakistan, Fauji Fertilizer Company and Sui Northern Gas Pipe Line Limited (SNGPL) were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 1.08, Re 0.70 and Re 0.67 respectively.
Engro Corporation Limited, Arif Habib Corporation and Thal Limited lost their per share value by Rs 2.60, Re 0.71 and Re 0.55 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Cement Company Limited with 544,000 shares, NIB Bank Limited with 391,500 shares and Maple Leaf Cement Factory with 365,000 shares.
