The shilling at 3,670/3,680, the same as Thursday's closing rate.

KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling held firm against the dollar on Friday, supported by hard currency inflows from charities and offshore investors into government securities.

At 0943 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,670/3,680, the same as Thursday's closing rate.
