LONDON: The United Kingdom's wheat harvest this year is provisionally seen at 16.28 million tonnes, up 20.1 percent from the prior season, Britain's farming ministry said on Tuesday.

The ministry estimated the barley crop at 8.18 million tonnes, up 25.6 percent.

Further details will be provided, along with an estimate of the rapeseed crop, on Thursday.
