European equities rebound at open

Frankfurt's DAX 30 index added 0.4 percent to 11,971.61 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained 0.3 percent to 5,455.89.

LONDON: European stock markets rebounded at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.3 percent to 7,098.40 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index added 0.4 percent to 11,971.61 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained 0.3 percent to 5,455.89.
