MOSCOW: Ukrainian pipeline operator Ukrtransnafta said on Wednesday it had received 2.3 million euros ($2.56 million) from Russia's Transneft as compensation for contaminated oil that entered the Ukrainian pipeline network, RIA news agency said.

Millions of tonnes of oil contaminated with high levels of organic chloride in the Druzhba pipeline from Russia disrupted deliveries to Europe earlier this year.
