BANDAR LAMPUNG: Indonesia exported 321.3 tonnes of cocoa beans from the province of Lampung in Sumatra in May, local trade office data showed on Tuesday.
Shipments in May were 37pc lower compared with a year-ago period. On a monthly basis, exports jumped from 22.4 tonnes in April.
The local trade office often revises shipment figures as more data becomes available.
Lampung is a minor producer in Indonesia, but the beans are normally high-quality fermented.
