KIEV: Ukraine has cut its white sugar exports by 13 percent to 378,200 tonnes in the first nine months of the September-August season, national sugar producers union Ukrtsukor said on Tuesday.
Ukraine's 2017/18 sugar exports fell to 560,400 tonnes from a record 769,300 tonnes in 2016/17.
Ukraine exports its white beet sugar mostly to former Soviet republics.
The union has said Ukraine's white sugar production fell 15 percent to 1.82 million tonnes in the 2018/19 season due to a decrease in the sugar beet harvest.
