BUCHAREST: Romania's finance ministry sold a more than planned 990.1 million lei ($237.37 million) of June 2024, treasury bonds on Monday at an average accepted yield of 4.29 percent, central bank data showed.
Debt managers, that planned to sell 600 million lei of the paper on Monday, last sold it in May at 4.46 percent.
So far this year, Romania has sold 20.8 billion lei and 506.7 million euros on the local market.
It also tapped foreign markets in March for 3 billion euros worth of 2026, 2034, and 2049, Eurobonds.
