KIEV: Ukraine's grain stocks totalled 12 million tonnes as of May 1, up from around 11.6 million tonnes a year earlier, the APK-Inform consultancy said on Monday, citing data from the State Statistics Service.
Stocks at large and medium-sized agricultural companies included 3.4 million tonnes of wheat.
The data does not include grain stored at hundreds of small Ukrainian farms.
Ukraine has said it harvested a record 70 million tonnes of grain in 2018.
Exports could total 49 million tonnes in the 2018/19 July-June season, the agriculture ministry said.
