French wheat ratings nearly stable vs last year: FranceAgriMer

PARIS: Farm office FranceAgriMer estimated in a report that 85 percent of French soft wheat crops were in good/excellent condition by Feb. 11 compared to 84 pct a year earlier.

In its first crop report since December due to a break for the winter dormancy period, FranceAgriMer said 79pc of French winter barley crops were in good/excellent condition by Feb. 11 versus 83 a year earlier

An estimated 12pc of the spring barley area had been sown by Feb. 11, up from 5 pc a year earlier.
