ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party coordinator for Europe Waheed Rasab, has welcomed the remarks of Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar about Pakistan-UK relations which she termed as unique, distinct and strong based on mutual respect and interests.
Talking to Radio Pakistan he said a lot of Pakistanis living in UK are very happy over goodwill message of Pakistan for the UK.
He said Pakistan suffered a lot in war on terror. Therefore, the UK government should give maximum financial aid to it, he said.
Replying to a question, he said Pakistan should provide secure and fair environment to overseas Pakistani investors to encourage them for the investment in their own country.
Pakistani origin British parliamentarian Khalid Mahmood also termed Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar's visit as successful and stressed on the implementation of the commitments by both the sides.
He said both the countries made progress on various issues during Khar's visit.
