KARACHI: Gold surged by Rs 386 to close at Rs 50,828 per 10 grams in the local market on Tuesday as its international price improved to $ 1,748 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also moved up by Rs 450 to at Rs 59,300.
Silver closed higher at Rs 942.85 per 10 grams.
