Governor Sindh, Chief Minister call on PM Gilani

KARACHI: Governor Sindh, Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at the Governor House here on Sunday.

During the meeting they reviewed the overall situation and discussed various matters.

The Prime Minister said that the present coalition government through the policy of reconciliation has strengthened the democratic process.

He stated that under the same policy, the 1973 constitution has been restored in its original shape.

He also referred to the unanimous passage of the 20th constitutional amendment.
