National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) chairman Usman Mubeen transferred DG NADRA Sindh and also suspended some officials as the former conducted another surprise visit to the different NADRA Registration Centres (NRCs) in Karachi.
NADRA chairman continues taking steps for smooth CNIC processing mechanism at its NRCs in Karachi, after the protest of Karachiites against the NADRA authorities. Usman Mubeen has made introduced key changes in the NADRA structure in Sindh province under which DG NADRA Sindh Hanif Khan was transferred and posted as DG RHU while Mir Ajam Durrani was appointed DG RHO Sindh.
NADRA chairman was again seen visiting various NADRA centres on Wednesday. He also suspended incharges of four NADRA centres and replaced the entire staff of DHA Mega Centre. Those who were suspended included: Ghulam Mustafa, Asif Ghani, Shehzad Yousuf and Babar Moeen.
He also ordered NADRA's three Mega Centres in Karachi to remain open for the customers round the clock. He directed NRCs to remain open for 12 hours from 9 am to 9 pm to facilitate the citizens.
