Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the PML-N government has put the country on the path of developmental process by taking bold steps. Talking to media persons in Rawalpindi, she said people are witnessing rapid development in shape of motorways, highways, energy projects, educational reforms and health initiatives across the country.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said the ruling party has eliminated the menace of terrorism and overcome the load-shedding problem in the leadership of former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Meanwhile, speaking in Islamabad, the minister said that PTI chief is persistently lying to deflect attention from his performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and submission of fake documents in the Supreme Court.
Responding to a question, she said Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has decided to finalize the names for Senate chairman and deputy chairman in consultation with the coalition partners. She said PML-N will trust the person who works for strengthening democracy and establishing ascendancy of the parliament.
