Bomb defused in Bannu

The bomb disposal squad (BDS) on Thursday defused a bomb found along the boundary wall of a primary school in Toot Ghari Meera Khel area of Bannu. According to details, the bomb found inside a cement block, was planted near the gate of the school. On tip off, Police and the bomb disposal squad (BDS) rushed to the site and defused the bomb. The presence of the live bomb panicked the residents. Police said that on a tip-off about a suspected material at the gate of a government primary school in Bannu, the bomb disposal squad reached the spot and found a bomb attached with a bottle filled with petrol.
