PTI rejects election of Nawaz

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Secretary Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday rejected the election of Nawaz Sharif as PML-N's 'Supreme Quaid' and termed it undemocratic. He also announced that PTI Chairman Imran Khan will contest the 2018 general elections from Karachi as well.
While addressing a luncheon held in his honor by PTI senior leader Jamshed Cheema, he said after becoming the supreme leader, Sharif's childhood wish has come true. He compared him with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussain and former Libyan dictator Colonel Qaddfi and added that in the part through a 15th amendment he wanted to become Amirul Momineen.
Referring to the recent courts verdicts in Sharif cases, he said that he (Sharif) likes it or not, he has to accept the Supreme Court's decisions. "The people in the N-League have decided to abandon the party and join the PTI. An N-League provincial legislator from Faisalabad, Raza Nasrullah, has announced to join the PTI," he added. The PTI leader said that the former prime minister wants to remain in politics in order to make his children powerful.
He disclosed that on March 8 the Election Commission of Pakistan will announce the new delimitation of constituencies. He announced that Imran Khan will launch his nationwide tour on March 4 and from Lahore the PTI will kick start the membership campaign on March 8.
Accepting the party's mistakes during the 2013 general elections, he said selection of inexperienced candidates cost them the elections. However, he was very optimist of winning the next general elections by saying that "Imran Khan is standing on the doorstep of the premiership". "We have rectified out mistake," he added.
