The National Highways and Motorways Police (NH&MP) Saturday claimed to have recovered 2 kg of hashish and 500mg of heroin from a car. The motorways police said that when the police signaled the car, coming from the wrong side of the road, to stop, it sped away. Police then followed the car and found it abandoned near Tarnab Farm. On conducting a search, the drugs were found from under the seat, the highway police said.
Meanwhile, at least two persons were killed and another injured when roof of a house collapsed in Mardan. According to details, the incident occurred in Gojar Ghari area of Mardan, when the family of Javed was sleeping. The wife and nine years old daughter Shela were killed and his 7 year old son serious injured in the incident.
