The Embassy of Pakistan, Washington DC organized a Mehfil-e-Milad on Friday evening to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him). Speaking on the occasion, Mrs Najia Aizaz Ahmad, spouse of Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, welcomed the guests and highlighted the spiritual significance of the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal in which the world was blessed with the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
The programme was conducted by renowned religious speaker Mrs Zohra Noorani, who also led the Salam at the end of the event.
