Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain said on Wednesday that Pakistan is in a phase of development after going through a crucial phase of fighting terrorism with rewarding outcome. Hussain said this during a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost who called on him. He also highlighted that Pakistan and Iran enjoy good neighboring relations with potential of mutually rewarding multifaceted engagements. He said that Pakistan highly values its fraternal ties with Iran and considers it a close friend and neighbor.
The two countries have cordial relations. Our doors are open for all kind of support for Iran, said Hussain. The federal minister also said that Pakistan is on its way to development after passing through a crucial phase in fighting terrorism with rewarding outcome for Pakistan as well as neighboring countries. He briefed the dignitary about the defence industrial potential of Pakistan and desired to know about the Iranian defence industry. He also extended invitation to the ambassador to attend IDEAS-2018 which will be held in November 2018.
