RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Monday at 23,146.67 points with a negative change of -157.98 and volume of 99,342,600 shares. High and Low were 23,304.65 and 23,103.50 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 11 were up, 18 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 176,441,540 shares. Total companies traded were 361 of which 142 were positive, 204 were negative and 15 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 43,012,870 shares. It was followed by Engineering with a total traded volume of 19,676,500 shares.
