The Supreme Court has been urged to bring former ambassador to US Hussain Haqqani back to Pakistan, making him join the memogate proceedings. Zafarullah Khan of Watan Party has made this request through an application filed in a pending petition on the issue. The applicant stated that the apex court had given a onetime permission to Haqqani to visit the US and return to the country within four days. However, he says, Haqqani never came back since his departure in 2012. The petitioner pleaded that Haqqani should be brought back through Interpol.
