'IFS Rating A' goes to PQGTL in 2017 too: PACRA

Pak-Qatar General Takaful Limited maintained 'Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) Rating' of 'A' in February, 2017, according to the Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (PACRA). PQGTL's maintains the said rating since its initial rating in 2016 and it future outlook has also remained constant and stable.
As per PACRA's Report, Pak-Qatar, being an early entrant in the Islamic insurance (Takaful) in both general and family, has achieved good brand recognition. It gave strength to PQGTL's business profile. The rating reflects sound-risk absorption capacity of the company. The rating is dependent on the management's ability to cohesively execute the business plan. PQGTL is the only Takaful Operator whom both rating companies operating in Pakistan viz. JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company and PACRA, have graded.
