Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Sunday inaugurated a 350 bedded Qazi Hussain Ahmed Hospital and Medical College in Naushera. Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak and other provincial ministers were also present on the occasion. The Qazi Hussain Ahmed Hospital is 350 bedded whereas the Medical College has 500 seats for students.
Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan said that all the latest facilities are available for patients in the hospital. He said that reforms were introduced in all the government run hospitals of the province to ensure health facilities to masses. Pervez Khattak on the occasion said that now the residents of Naushera will get healthcare facilities at their door step and they will not suffer anymore to travel to other districts for medical treatments. According to provincial government, the hospital is comprised of 500 beds.
